The Role:
The Strategy Director- Social Media and Digital Marketing for Scroll Mantra will be responsible for managing the complete Social and Digital Media Marketing at the company. He / She would be responsible for spearheading the Social Media marketing side of the business with basic understanding of Performance Marketing, SEO and Design.
The role demands Client Servicing, Internal Team Management, Strategy and overseeing execution to perfection.
The person will be responsible for strategic development of integrated marketing initiatives to meet client marketing and business objectives. The person should have the ability to interrogate and interpret client briefs, understand key consumer and market insights to consult and devise holistic touchpoint plans, harnessing existing brand assets, creating new assets and leveraging appropriate marketing channels.
The person will be responsible for driving direction of the overarching communication strategy in line with business objectives. Apart from that the individual will be involved in business development, creating and leading new client pitches and bring in new business for the agency.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
● The person will have four key responsibility areas – Client Servicing, Business Development, Operations- Team Management and Strategy/ Campaigns
● He/ She should have detailed knowledge of Social Media Platforms and basics of Performance Marketing and SEO would be preferred
● Should be familiar with key tools and be able to guide the team
● Should possess leadership quality and should have experience in managing a team in the past
● Should be a go getter and understand company’s P and L and work towards achieving Scroll Mantra’s business goals
● Should understand client’s brief, needs and become the key point of contact for key clients
● Should be capable of creating campaigns, strategy and lead the team towards execution
● Maintains a good working relationship with the key stakeholders throughout the planning and of the campaign, in particular the online and offline resources to align communication strategies.
● Assumes leadership of communication and presentation of media strategy & planning to c-suite client teams and stakeholders.
● Builds and maintains strong client relationships by positioning| Scroll Mantra as strategic partner.
● Liaises regularly with Client Business Lead and Media Execution Lead to ensure strategic direction translates to execution.
● Both inspires and challenges the client with innovative marketing solutions.
● Ensures effective communication across internal teams, with the client, and agency partners throughout planning cycle.
● Maintains a detailed awareness of relevant media research and new opportunities within different media channels.
● Has an omnichannel approach (e.g. website, blogs, emails and social media) to ensure brand consistency
● Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare budget
● Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
● Oversee our social media accounts
● Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
● Liaise with operation steams to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies
● Motivate team to achieve individual goals
● Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out
● Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments
● Recognises industry opportunity to grow Scroll Mantra as an agency
● Takes effective leadership role in new business pitches
Qualification:
● Master Degree in Communication or Social Sciences
● Must have agency experience
● Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Social Media Marketing
● Some experience in digital marketing and SEO will be appreciated
● Possession of excellent written, oral and presentation skills, particularly the ability to articulate a compelling consumer story and translating that into meaningful strategy.
